Made in Japan & the Orient opened in Albury in September 2006. It offers an alternative in its variety of items, and in a way is a journey for the customer to explore a sample of the products and culture of Japan.
There is something for everyone from beds to chopsticks and Japanese chewing gum. Furniture items include the old, antique and new Japanese reproduction. A wide range of Japanese ceramics, books, kimonos (new summer yukata and vintage pre-owned kimonos) are available.
Traditional art and crafts such as origami, ikebana and calligraphy are also catered for.
