What You Get

Listing Process

  1. Complete and submit your Listing Details Form - either directly to your Billboard account manager or by Fax to: 02 6056 4273
  2. Email your logo and image to sales@awbillboard.com.au
  3. We then build your Listing Page
  4. You approve your Listing Page
  5. Payment is then required
  6. We then transfer your Listing Pages to the live Billboard Web site.

Complete the Business Listing Details Form

Business Details - Complete the fields that you want displayed on your Listing Page.

Logo / Image - Select the number of homepage squares you require. Indicate if you want to use your logo or symbol for the squares (your complete logo will be displayed in your homepage pop-up). Indicate the shape of your logo and the selected no. of squares on the grid. For your Listing Page choose either your logo or a picture of your store or product. Finally, do you have an electronic copy of your logo or will you supply it in a printed format e.g. letterhead, business card. See below.

Listing Page Categories - From the Business Categories & Groups List, select up to 6 categories to list your business in. Include the Group and Category on the form.

Listing Page Approval - If you have Internet access, you can view your page online before we bring the printed proof to you for approval.

Charges - Each homepage square costs $100, multiply this by the number of squares you selected. If you are a member of Albury Wodonga Business or the Business Enterprise Centre deduct 10%. Then if you require us to organise the copy for your Summary and Description add $40. All charges are inclusive of GST.

Payment - Payment is required when you approve your Listing Page. You can prepay. However prepayment is only required to reserve homepage squares. If your business uses purchase order numbers, enter the number here.

Contact - These details are used for correspondence only. Your contact name and email is not published on Web site and we do not share this information with any 3rd Party.

Authorisation - This is your authorisation for us to proceed.

Summary - A short overview of your business - this is displayed on your homepage pop-up and is the text used when your Listing Page is emailed by a visitor to a friend. A maximum of 20 words is allowed. See below.

Description - Describe your business. Include your primary business activity, the product and service you offer, what are your main strengths etc. A maximum of 100 words is allowed. See below.

Products, Services and Brands - List up to 12 products, services and brands that your business offers.

Writing Your Summary and Description

You may already have a description of your business that you would like to use, if not the prompts below may assist you.

Alternatively we can organise professional copy writing for the nominal charge of $40. If you would like us to help you, please answer the prompts below in the Description section of the Business Listing Details form and we will write the copy. Please answer as much as you can that is appropriate to your business to assist us in delivering a quality result back to you.

  • What is your primary business activity?
  • What product and service do you offer?
  • Are these products and services unique in any way?
  • Do you specialize in specific industry segments e.g. industrial, retail?
  • What are your 3 main strengths?
  • What are your trading hours e.g. 24/7, 9 to 5?
  • Do you offer delivery?
  • What do your customers say about you?
  • Do you service any special type of customers e.g. your sports store supplies uniforms for local football team?
  • Do you have a mission statement?
  • How long have you been in business and/or commencement year?
  • Company history including when the business was founded and by whom.
  • Have you won or nominated for any awards?
  • Do you support or sponsor any sporting teams or community programs?
  • Any other significant points?

Logos and Images

Homepage Squares
Take into account the shape of your logo when selecting the number of squares. If your logo contains a lot of text, consider using the device or motif from your logo. You may also choose to use a symbol for your homepage squares e.g. a monopoly house to represent a real estate agent (be creative).

Your complete logo will be displayed in your homepage pop-up

Listing Page
On your Listing Page you can use either your logo or a picture of your store or product.

Format
Logos and images are best supplied electronically. If you do not have a copy of your logo, your stationery printer should have a copy in the format we require. Email these files to sales@awbillboard.com.au

Alternatively, we can scan an image if a good quality hard copy is supplied e.g. letterhead, business card.
